Now That I've Confessed [Takeru x Chiyu]

HOORAY! My first Yaoi fic is finally here. This is the result of being bored and stuck in school :D

It was a very cold January evening; and for that reason, SuG had to stay cooped up inside the studio until it was warm enough again.

Takeru was watching Chiyu from the other side of the room, as he chatted happily with Yuji. They were always together: They always sat next to each other on the tour bus, ate together and even had their own little signs to use when they were in front of the rest! It made Takeru sick!

Takeru had liked Chiyu even since he joined SuG, which was some time after Masato, Yuji and him formed the band. And ever since then, he felt like Yuji was some sort of barrier between him and Chiyu. However, since they were all going to be stuck in the studio for some time, Takeru decided to grab this as an opportunity: he was going to talk to Chiyu! He couldn't wait any longer to confront him, afterall.

As Takeru stood up and made his way towards the two guys, he could feel his heart beating faster and faster; his hands were also starting to sweat, and worst of all, his stomach was feeling very uncomfortable due to all the butterflies that were fluttering in it.

When he finally arrived, he said, hesitating:

"Chiyu...Ummm, can I talk to you in private?"

Both Chiyu and Yuji looked up, and upon seeing it was their band's vocalist, Yuji gave Chiyu a suspicious glance; Chiyu then cleared his throat and said, as he stood up from where he was sitting:

"Sure, Take-kun. What is it?"

As they made their way to another room, Takeru realized that he actually didn't know what to say. He was feeling more nervous than ever and it was then when he started regretting mentioning that he wanted to talk to Chiyu in the first place. Thinking that it wasn't too late to could fix this, Takeru decided to change what he was going to say originally, and when they finally were alone, he said:

"It's about the band and the upcoming lives we have."

"It's not that, isn't it?" retorted Chiyu, not meeting Takeru's eyes and fixing his gaze on the floor.

It seemed that Chiyu had looked right through Takeru.

"EH?! What? Well...no, it isn't."

"What is it then?"

"You know what I think? I think that you should tell the rest of the guys that you and Yuji like each other! They deserve to know! But I don't really care, anyways" spat Takeru.

"Woah, what?! Me and Yuji? I don't like Yuji!"

"DO YOU THINK I'M STUPID OR WHAT?! DON'T YOU THINK I NOTICE THE WAY YOU LOOK AT HIM WHEN YOU GUYS TALK?!"

"If you don't care, then why are you screaming?"

"BECAUSE IT PISSES ME OFF, DAMN IT!" Takeru was now really mad.

"You're jealous." said Chiyu quietly, now staring deeply at Takeru's eyes.

"I'M NOT-"

Just then, Chiyu grabbed Takeru's shoulders and pushed the young man towards him, making their lips meet. Chiyu started kissing him passionetly, as he now caressed Takeru's soft hair. Takeru was really surprised, but when he realized what had happened, he slowly closed his eyes and kissed Chiyu back, exploring every corner of his mouth with his tongue.

Takeru and Chiyu seemed to embrace in a kiss which seemed to last for hours; and before they could break off, Yuji appeared from the other room and stood next to the door.

"So I see he's explained it all to you, huh?" Yuji said, raising his voice so both could hear.

Takeru, upon hearing Yuji's voice, quickly separated from Chiyu and said, confused:

"Explained what?"

"Why we hang out all the time." replied Chiyu this time.

"Since I've known you longer, Chiyu asked me to tell him all about you. And because he fell in love with you as soon as he saw you, he also asked me to help him confess to you." said Yuji, as he started to make his way back to the other room.

"WAIT! Why? I mean, why you and not Masato?" said a shocked and wide-eyed Takeru.

"Because he didn't want to be involved. I was nice, so I decided to help Chiyu out. We already had a plan, too. Chiyu was going to confess to you next month, on Valentine's Day to be exact. But I guess you got to the confessing part before him."

"Not really... I suddenly kissed him." said Chiyu this time, as a very noticeable blush appeared on his cheeks.

Yuji smiled and applauded; and before leaving the two alone again, he gave Chiyu a thumbs up as he smiled.

Takeru then understood it all: Chiyu didn't like Yuji, and Yuji definitely didn't like Chiyu, either. He was in fact trying to get them together and helping Chiyu face him. Takeru felt so happy and warm inside, knowing that what he thought that was unrequieted love was actually the opposite.

And then, Takeru grabbed Chiyu's hand, carressed it and said as he slowly approached him, making  their faces incredibly close:

"I love you, Chiyu. Ever since I met you, I've loved you. And now that I've finally confessed to you, it's my turn to kiss you."

And without giving Chiyu time to reply, Takeru quickly leaned forward and when their lips met again, they indulged in soft, deep and warm kiss, making that cold January evening even warmer than the summer.
